Sunday Service - Our Celebration of Worship
A Course in Miracles
Centering Prayer
A Course in Miracles  is a self-study spiritual thought system that teaches  the way to universal love and peace is by undoing guilt through forgiving others. You may join this course at any time regardless of your exposure to the material. Meetings usually last an hour. If you have the Course in Miracles book, bring it along. We also have copies to share if you don't own the book. A Couse in Miracles is facilitated at Unity West by Russ Gnant.
Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer -- prayer in which we experience God's presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. It is not meant to replace other kinds of prayer but adds depth of meaning to all prayer and facilitates the movement from more active, verbal modes of prayer into a  prayer of resting in God. Centering Prayer is facilitated at Unity West by Paul Strecher.
Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. we honor God with music, singing, prayer, meditation and our offerings. We bless our children before they leave the service to learn and grow in classes specially designed for their age group. A message is shared by our minister or a guest speaker to help listeners examine their lives and make positive changes. Our messages are always uplifting and will help you think in new, powerful ways. We love visitors!
